Dutch Dragons - About us

We are the Dutch Dragons, a group of friends from the south-western part
of the Netherlands. We started out as a loose group of people who play the
Dungeons and Dragons boardgame together, but quickly found out we all had
much in common, and became good friends. Besides playing D&D, we often
come together to watch some anime, or visit a few fantasy-conventions.

I am Wild-Child83, offline also known as Alphons. I’m a 25 year old guy from Wouw, the Netherlands. Besides my activities with the group, I enjoy playing a computergame (offline and online). I own a XBOX 360 (my gamerstag is wildchild83 on XBOX LIVE) and Playstation 3. I also enjoy listening to some music, generally Celtic, Metal or New Age, though my absolute favorite group is EPICA. My character in the new campaign we’re about to start in the boardgame is Alucard, a vampire.

My tag is D-man. In real life I’m Douwe de Regt, I’m 26. I live in a small town called Standdaarbuiten. Nothing ever happens there so I have to keep myself busy. Tuesday nights I do aikido, Wednesdays I teach swimming lessons, Fridays I go to a percussion band, I play an online game called Ogame and the rest goes to D&D and school. I was the first one to play D&D of this group, I began with the complete D&D game from the books with some college buddies, the second edition. They stopped. Together with Wild-Child83 we then bought the board game and it all began. Usually I’m the DM, but when I play I mostly play a monk.

I am Hellknight, offline also known as Gijs. I’m a 26 year old guy from Roosendaal, the Netherlands. Besides my activities with the group, I enjoy reading a good book, preferable fantasy, playing a computergame, or just hang around online, at the Lord of the Rings Plaza, a huge, forum-based, fancommunity for the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. I also enjoy listening to some music, generally Celtic, Celtic folk or New Age, though my absolute favorite group is Blackmore’s Night. My character in the new campaign we’re about to start in the boardgame is Rhodry, a paladin.

My Name is Bente Lee, but I'm better known as Macwa. I'm the only girl in the gang, but belief me they got there hands full with me. I'm 23 and was born and bred in Roosendaal .
I spend most of my day as a film-editor. If I'm not working on my films, I'm either watching one or playing a computer game. I always play a rouge. Sneaking about is my specialty. why fight head to head with the chance to get hurt when I can just sneak up behind them and plant a knife between there ribs.

My name is Keith Hennekam, but i'm also known as War-Child84. I'm 25 years old and live in Noord-Brabant in the city Roosendaal. I own a XBOX 360 (just like Wild-Child83) and love to play computergames. I'm a big fan of dragons and I play the dragonmaster Khamul. In dire situations, I can pray to Bahmut, the deity of the Metalic (good) Dragons, and ask him for aid. If he grants my prayer, he himself will come to my aid.
